PLATE II. (Facing page 32). The Goetheanum from the
SouthWest, shewing the southern and western porches. The
main entrance through the West Portal in the sub-structure
beneath the terrace can just be seen, to the left of the
shrubbery in the foreground. Note that the windows and doors
are always in threes. (Going in by this main entrance, we
come upon the main staircases to the left and right, leading
into the interior of the western porch. From here we go out
on to the terrace, or in through the archway beneath the
organ. into the Auditorium under the Large dome. Compare the
next two plates).
