Architectural Contributions of Rudolf Steiner

PLATE II. (Facing page 32). The Goetheanum from the SouthWest, shewing the southern and western “porches.” The main entrance through the West Portal in the sub-structure beneath the terrace can just be seen, to the left of the shrubbery in the foreground. Note that the windows and doors are always in threes. (Going in by this main entrance, we come upon the main staircases to the left and right, leading into the interior of the western porch. From here we go out on to the terrace, or in through the archway beneath the organ. into the Auditorium under the Large dome. Compare the next two plates).
