(After 1918 esoteric classes were usually opened and closed with the following verse:
In you lives the human-being
That sees God face to face, that's eternal
And that's in the circle of the seven great spirits
It's above everything that's angry or timid in you
It rules with the forces of the upper world
And it's served by the forces of the lower world
It takes care of its own life and its own health and it can also do this in others
It can't be surprised by anything; can't be befallen by any misfortune; it can't be confused and can't be overcome
It knows the nature of past, present and future things
It's in possession of the secret of resurrection and of immortality.
